Companies with mainly proprietary vehicle fleet, (light trucks, heavy duty, refrigerators, trailers), that transfer or deliver commodities and goods domestically or abroad. As they cover long distances, such companies are faced with increased fuel costs (1/3 of the total operational use), as well as high and unpredictable maintenance and repair costs.

It’s important for their business to know the location of their vehicles in real time, the driving behavior of their drivers and the impact that this behavior has on the mechanical parts of their vehicles. Because both the vehicles and their drivers are considered the foundations for the proper function of the supply chain (receipt and delivery within a predictable timeframe and deliverables in excellent condition), companies are looking for a solution that will minimize the risk (damage that will immobilize the vehicle, accident etc.) and reduce OPEX costs.
